I have had a contract with MTN for many years and have had numerous upgrades. My contract is past upgrade date and due for a handset, cancelation or migration etc. Due to my handset giving in I went to Herm**** MTN and asked all the relevant questions and stipulating that screen mirroring was a must, I decided on staying with Samsung having an A5 I agreed on the A5 2016 (same product newer version). Sadly when i got home the first thing i looked for was screen mirroring which the phone does not have. I returned to the store and was told to try various apps but none that are obviously Wi-Fi direct and require a network and disappointingly I returned to the store. Paper work was filled in, phone was returned and then I was told I cannot upgrade for an unspecified number of days whilst the returns process is followed. I returned to the store today. Firstly re-introducing myself and the problem. The first answer that I got was that it was my fault and not a technical fault because of the handset I took. I then proceeded to explain my predicament stipulating that it is very difficult for my wife and I to share one phone and swop sim cards (besides the chaos it causes with watts up etc.) whilst running a business with our numbers on our business cards. The saleslady just shrugs her shoulders and says it was my fault and it will take a few days! The sales lady knows exactly what I was after because she referred me to an LG phone with Wi-Fi direct but I told her I would stick to Samsung. She however does not know her products, neither does the gentleman next to her as it was news to him as well that the 2016 version does not have screen mirroring. This according to them is now MY problem! MTN educate your staff, do some product knowledge reviews and please sort this out asap. I asked to speak to management and was referred to 808 .... I suggested Hello Peter and left the store with no acknowledgement. Hence ......

MTN I am very happy with your network and always have been, please sort this out tomorrow, I will be going to your competitors tomorrow to look at migrating to their network, because a few days? Is just too long to wait.
