No Joy from MTN

Being an MTN contract customer for 5 years I have never come across such worse service as what I’m currently experiencing. On the 25 April I was very excited as I was due for a cellphone contract upgrade. I headed to the MTN Southgate branch where I was assisted promptly from manager (Kgomotso) I then decided to upgrade to the Samsung S7 Edge cell phone and (added another line to my contract). Within the first few days of having the cellphone it started freezing and white lines appearing on the phone when switching on/off and making calls. I reported the phone on the 7 May however could only return back to the store on the 11 May due to the strike within the Eldorado Park region. The phone was then assessed in store and book under warrantee assessment. I then took it upon myself to make contact with store manager Kgomotso on (23rd May 26, 2017) in order to find out how far the process is. She provide me with the contact number of the repair center ( ********** 349) and when contacting them I spoke to Tsepo he advised the cellphone was received on the 18 May and there are outstanding warrantee documents which I need to contact the store. I then called the branch immediately and store manager (Kgomotso) and she made contact with repair center advised the agents/consultants capture the warrantee details incorrectly however it was then fixed and that the technician will assess the phone on (Wednesday) and I can check between Thursday and Friday. On Thursday I checked with the repair center and spoke to Pricilla and she advised the cellphone has not been assessed but rather dispatched back to the store in order to complete the warrantee documents. Again I made contact with the store manager (Kgomotso) and then told that the repair center needs the documents for the supplier purposes and in order for the process to be quicker I will need to fetch the phone and take it to the repair center myself. NOW WHERE IS THE CUSTOMER SERVICE in this whole mess. I am very furious as I’m currently without a cellphone and never made use of any of the benefits nor had the pleasure of the cellphone but first payment is due on the 3rd June. Job number: M **********
