No Help from anyone at MTN!
I have recently decided to move from Cell C to MTN, and made an application for a new contract. This was promptly accepted, I provided MTN with the required documentation to PORT my cell number (20 APRIL 2015).

I received my phone and new sim card, (04 MAY 2015) but the SIM card was not activated and my number was still on the Cell C network. This was expected, as I was asked to call *** to activate my sim card.

I have contacted the call centre, no response due to the strike, the sales person who did my contract application is no help, the stores even say there is nothing that I can do.

I have been sitting from the 4th of May with a SIM card which cannot be used and has not been used as nobody at the entire company that is MTN can apparently help me! I have even tried to use twitter but no response to me from that channel as well!

Tomorrow will be one month, and that is absolutely appalling! I was a MTN customer for 9 years before leaving to Cell C due to bad service. I came back thinking it was better, but this experience has been harrowing to say the least!

Company issues should not impact your paying customer, especially not for an ENTIRE MONTH!
