No handsets
<p>On Friday, 4th August, after numerous calls from MTN to come upgrade, I went to the Carletonville branch to go do just that. The phone that I wanted they did not have in stock. the lady working there was very helpful and helped me compare different handsets and choose the best one. Ultimatelty the one I wanted was not available.</p> <p>We did some paperwork to order the phone and she advised me by Friday, 11th August it would be there... I tried contacting the store and all the numbers listed online are incorrect. I had to go into the store, which is in another town, just for that same lady to tell me that there is a problem with MTN and the courier company RTT with receiving stock. Not only that store either but a nationwide problem.</p> <p>She gave me the stores correct number and told me that it might be there on Thursday, 17th of August.</p>

Thank you for responding, however to date (24/08/2017) I have yet to receive joy from MTN.
On Wednesday 16 August, I went into the store again in Carletonville, because their phone was not working as usual. I saw the manager this time that tried assisting me by locating the specific handset from other stores, then trying to sell me another handset. Which is not on the contract package that I want or is R200 more a month than what I was initially set on spending. Then he informed me that the other store he manages will be getting stock the next day, Thursday, and that he'd hope that there would be one there.
That he would go fetch it personally and return with my handset. I left my contact detail again... Friday morning I got a call from the store and was told that there is still no handset. Monday morning 21 August I get a call again to let me know there are still no handsets and that head office has 15 in stock, the were hoping to get at least one for me.
I have only been satisfied with MTN, an ambassador for the service provider. However I feel let down. Considering cancelling and moving to another provider.
