No Feedback on OBF LG G4 known screen issue

I would like to lodge the following complaint regarding my OBF (less than 6 months) lodged recently which came back rejected due to “Dent in the Corner”

Please kindly inspect the pics attached and not the following.

I use this handset mainly for a WIFI hotspot at home as I have another primary handset, the “Damage” I inspected is a superficial scratch to the corner of the handset and simply cannot be the cause of the issue detailed below.

The problem with the handset relates to literally half the screen not showing – touch functionality is still there however half the screen is permanently black. Not cracked, just “off”. When I was informed by the outlet in Northgate that my claim was rejected, notably I was upset. I have done research on this particular problem and it is not an uncommon fault with the LG G4 as per the link below and is NOT related to bashes or drops. It is a result of the GPU not being correctly fitted during manufacture. When I contacted the repair centre as to the reasons, they simply said there is physical damage, regardless of how small and they cannot definitively say that the scratch on the corner is the cause. When attempting to escalate, I was told I would get a call within 10 minutes. No call ever came. When I picked up the handset from the outlet, Even the shop workers and a gentleman whom I presume is an LG rep (Wearing LG branded clothing) could not believe the claim was rejected and even they advised I take it further.

So MTN, please can you advise as to how we can resolve this problem. My expectation of you is to replace the phone as your outlet staff said was a sure thing as there is clearly an issue with the model and not caused by “Dent in the Corner”.
