No connectivity during load shedding

I have an mtn mobile data router. I specifically purchased it, to have connectivity/wifi during loadshedding, since my Fibre is down. However, mtn in Secunda is non-existent during loadshedding. You can't call. You can connect. I tried to cancel my contract, but mtn refuses.
