No connection for a week, 10km2

Ongoing problem for over a week now, the whole area from Vaal View down to Loch Vaal (about 10km2) in Vanderbijlpark, Gauteng, has been without any connection , both voice and data. Many people in the area have complained on the various platforms without any positive outcome.

I was informed by MTN that they are not replacing batteries at the tower/s (I don't know if this problem is related), but that is not good service and if things do not change for the better I will be porting my number to Vodacom.
