No Answer Call Centre
I write on behalf of my girlfriend. She received her statement via sms on 30 Apr, showing amount due of R2045. Inv amount is just under R470. Phoned 808 several times today, to find out why the account amt due is so high, but without success. Last 2 attempts, call was cut-off, last time held on for 13 min, still unanswered.

19 May 2015, 12:07Hello charliek,
Thank you for taking the time to raise your concerns with MTN.
Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused as a result of the breakdown in service delivery.
Kindly note that the account is invoiced on the 20th of every month and debited on the 30th of every month, but each payment is for the previous month. This means, on 30th March the debit order going off (R844.20) is for invoice dated 21st January to 20th February, and on 30th April the debit order going off (R1578.80) is for invoice dated 21st February to 20th March.
The amount of R2048.70 therefore includes March (1578.80) and April (R469.90), but only March is payable at the end of April. The April invoice is payable at the end of May.
We hope this brings clarity to your query.
Regards
Mary
