NEW LTE SIMCARDS TOTAL DISASTER!!!!!
I did a simswop to a LTE simcard after I received a message from MTN to do so. This was about two weeks ago. Initially when I did this, I could not access any of my data related programs or functions. I then spoke to a Samsung consultant thinking it was the phone, and she helped me to connect to the MTN server which the consultant who did the simswop for me, either did not know that she must do this, or she just did not feel like working that day ( I got the feeling the latter was the case). Anyway I was then referred to MTN Customer service who then informed me that there is a problem with the way the simcard was loaded and that MTN Customer Care must reload the simcard for me. When I eventually got hold of them after almost holding for a whole day, I was informed that there is nothing wrong with the simcard and it was a network coverage problem. When I eventually got through to network coverage I was referred back to data services. I then asked for my old simcard to be re-activated and I was told that the old simcards were discontinued so I am stuffed, for as long as I stay on MTN network. Luckily I will be able to port to Vodacom soon. Cannot wait!!!!
