New contract... faulty device
I signed a new contract with MTN on the 4th Dec 2019 for a Huawei tablet, it only took about 2 or three days for the tablet to start giving problems, I then took it back to the store and asked if I could change it to a Samsung tablet (more expensive contract) and was told no... that I would have to stick to the Huawei that I now have no confidence in but am stuck with for 36 months! I returned the device within my 7 days of the consumer protection act law, why am I being denied my rights?

11 Dec 2019, 09:58Thank you for your reply. I am not happy with that. The device is less than the 7 days that the consumer protection act allows for returns. If I have had problems within the first 7 days then I very much doubt that I am going to have much success with the next device if it is the same. There is apparently also a cooling off period of 7 days. I am leaving for overseas in a few days and I need a device that is actually going to work and not give me problems as I will be away for some time.
