NEVER ENDING STORY - MTN ONGOING COMPLAINT

Req: ********** / 73\8804

I am finished with MTN, I am ready to take all my phones give it back and tell them to bill someone else.

I have been with MTN for 20 years and I have no idea what is going on with MTN but the service and billing is just getting ridiculous.

It started when I went to upgrade in January 2016 I wanted to take advantage of the combo special which was a samsung phone and Tablet - they did not have stock of the tablet, so I said I would wait, I asked if they would keep all the phones I wanted until the tablet was available, as I could not give a phone to one child and not the other, when the tablets arrived and I went to collect 3 months later, the phone in the combo was not available, they said they could not keep the phone due to some rules and regulations, but in January it was fine to keep it - What? - I had to settle for a diffrent phone, as if it is my fault they had stock problems with the tablets.

Then 3 month later I get billed R5220.97 for data! - The contracts are supposed to be Top Up.....MTN contracts clearly state - Top Up: This is a cappped package & you will NOT be able to EXCEED your monthly allocations & would need to Purchase airtime to top up your airtime / data bundles.

I went straight to MTN Corporate in Boksburg at the end of July 2016 with the phones as the statement showed it was recurring bundles, Shavaughn Marais checked the phones and the phones showed that there were no recurring bundles loaded, I was assured I would be refunded..... at the begining of August 2016 The two phones get an sms stating that the recurring bundles have been loaded, I immediately rush back to MTN, Shavaughn Marais checks the phones I am once again told there are no recurring bundles I must pay and I will be refunded, so end of August 2016 I pay again, and ontop of the two phones being charged for data that was impossible to load from the phones and the phones do not have cash airtime only free minutes on. MTN has incorrectly loaded a TV onto my account - for this they say sorry and we can't correct this right now as the person who loaded this on your account is on maternity leave - shew I must just pay till she comes back - what an excuse.

MTN finally credited me for the TV - no apologies for the inconvience and for paying while they take thier time to short it out but anyway - sorted on this one.

I was billed for data for the other two phones up until October 2016 and then they corrected the account for the one phone - BUT with no credit given, but the other phone is still be billed with data that is not been received. I don't want the Data - I did not load the Data on these phones - I just want the credits and my contracts back to what they are supposed to be.

I have for the last two months stoped my payments to MTN, as I am tired of emailing and driving back and forth to the MTN store (As this cost me money paying for petrol and my time spent on emails back and forth to MTN with NO RESOLVE)

I must say though MTN is quick on the draw as since I have not paid for two months they have suspeded my contract - just wish they would be this quick with sorting the account out.

MTN - I should not have to pay for a suspended service, when clearly I am still in credit (Check your billing services) I buy and pay for DATA monthly from pick n pay and engen

PLEASE MTN SORT THIS OUT my other contract is due for upgrade and I am thinking of moving this because I just can't go on dealing with this when I have done everything possible on my side to sort out my other contract.
