Never apply Online!!!pathetic service and delayed process!!

I app**** for a contract with mtn online. A week later an agent from mnt called me and advised that my contract has been approved. However I need to send proof of my payslip and 3months bank statement to finalize the contract. At the end of the call the agent mentioned that it is a 36month contract. The next day I emailed mnt Customer care and advised that I would like to cancel the Application. A few days later I received a call from DSV delivery company stating they will deliver in 3days time. I advised DSV to cancel the delivery as I have canceled my Application and do not understand how they approved it without valid documentation. They were still waiting on my proof of payslip and bank statements. I waited and entire week before mnt responded. There response after a week was that they will forward the email to their sales department! Seriously! After a week! I responded to the email stating that I received a call from DSV and cancelled the delivery. It took another week for them to reply and the response was the same. They going to forward the email to another department. I went into the mnt store and was advised that my details are on the system however my billing details are not active which means I will not be billed. I app**** in store for the 24month contract I initially wanted they then it gave them an option for add sim, which now means..if they are going to activate the contract for me it will activate the other one as well! I then called the number that was given to me regarding online applications. I spoke to a guy Jason and he advised that it has been cancelled on the 17th of dec 2019 because that is when the phone was sent back to their warehouse. However it needs to be finalized once again!! I asked for an email confirmation stating that it has been cancelled in order for me to apply in store...I have still not received anything! I requested cancellation on the 4th dec 2019...this has taken an entire month!! However I am still waiting for the confirmation email!! Pathetic!!!
