My contract was expiring in September 2023

My contract was expiring in September 2023. The beginning of September I issued cancelation notice as adviced. They assured me that by 08th October it will be canceled.. In stead a received a message that am on month to month contract, when I called to ask what does it mean they said its an automatic thing when ur contract expires but I should not worry on the 16th it will b canceled.. I won't receive data and there won't be any debit order. Am suprised today on the 16th a debit order of R970 which is my usual debit order went through.. I definatly reversed it awaiting for them to call me.. Mtn south Africa has a very poor service especially when it comes to contract cancelation.. It's easy when they give u offer through the fone but when u have to cancell it becomes a problem
