MWEB/MTN - SPAM - Wonga FInance Loan @ 3.5% a year

I basically have a problem with MWEB / MTN allowing my 3G card to be spammed by amongst others - Wonga, Omo and other competitions I have never entered for, FNB ****s, Cheap Data Rates - I have sent all the original messages to them to check. I have logged calls an numerous occasions but they just don't follow up to any kind of resolution. How does one STOP being spammed on a 3G data card - used purely to log on to MWEB for email downloads and internet connection?. I don't even know the telephone number!

Thank you for taking time to raise your concerns, please accept our apologies for the inconvenience this has caused.

I can imagine that this is very frustrating. Please supply us with our MTN account number to check on our side. Also do note that these spam messages are sent through different companies with many of them giving you the option to unsubscribe. Details of this should be in the messages you are receiving
