MTN,saying anything to sign you up for a contract

I app**** for a MTN contract online The next day I was called by a sales agent,my contract was approved and before accepting I clearly told the guy that I’m using an iPhone that only uses one SIM card and that I want to use MTN as an esim on that iPhonee and he said that I could do that and it’s not a problem Fast forward a few days later I receive my SIM card and it’s activated so now I’m trying to get them to convert it into an esim,I went to the MTN store and they don’t know how to do it I’ve called customer care and they say my number is on the old system and that it could take a while before I’m migrated to the new system So basically I’m going to be paying for a sim that I can’t use,I cannot remove my current sim from my phone because it’s my main SIM card I am going to cancel this contract
