MTN's Unfair Treatment and ******** Account Changes – Violation of TCF

I am the lawful owner of the MTN account associated with a mobile number 071-865***x. On March 2, 2025, changes were ********ly made to my MTN account without my knowledge, authorization, or initiation. At no point did I communicate with any MTN representative regarding modifications to my account. I only became aware of this *****ulent activity when I noticed that people were unable to reach me. After restarting my phone, I discovered that unauthorized changes had been made, resulting in unnecessary and unfair charges. These actions by MTN directly violate the Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principles. Instead of proactively addressing their mistake, MTN forces customers like me to spend unnecessary time and effort obtaining affidavits to rectify these ******** alterations. This is completely unacceptable and *********, as customers should not bear the burden of correcting an issue they did not cause. I am not responsible for any charges, transactions, or activities resulting from these unauthorized changes and request that MTN investigate this matter immediately. They must take the necessary steps to restore my account to its original state and ensure I am not held liable for any costs associated with this *****ulent activity.
