MTN’s Underhanded and Deceptive Practices – Regret Signing Up!

I am absolutely disgusted with the blatant dishonesty and lack of transparency from MTN. We signed up for a month-to-month router contract at R269 after explicitly confirming with the sales advisor that the cost would not change. Fast forward a month, and suddenly, we are being billed R295—with ZERO communication or explanation!

Was this an outright lie from the sales advisor, or is this just how MTN operates—deceiving customers into contracts under false pretenses? Either way, it’s a shameful and ********* business practice. We now have no idea what to expect next—how much will the price be next month? Will MTN keep moving the goalposts? This is NOT what we agreed to!

This experience has left us skeptical, frustrated, and completely regretful of ever signing up with MTN. If this is how they treat customers, then beware—MTN’s deals are nothing but bait-and-switch tactics! We feel utterly duped and would strongly advise anyone considering their services to either be very careful of these tricks.

Absolutely disgraceful service from a company that clearly has no integrity!
