Mtn's so called"uncapped" data complete lies
I recently purchased a new phone and it required quite afew updates. I then bought a one day data bundle which MTN says is"uncapped" for R40. As I began to update the phone I then received an sms saying I have used 150mb fair usage and my download speed would be throttled. Not long after, my download failed at 18% and I am not able to access web sites. MTN is conning their customers by taking your money and thereafter giving you terms and conditions after you purchase when you have already made a purchase. MTN in what world do you live that uncapped is equivalent to 150mb?Stop taking our money for things you claim to offer only for it to be complete lies.

Thank you for taking time to raise your concerns with MTN, please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused as a result of your dissatisfaction with our Uncapped data bundle.
MTN’s Terms and Conditions state that the fair usage policy for the bundle is 150MB. Once this limit is reached, speeds are throttled to 128kbps. That is the reason you were sent the message, it just means that your download speed is only reduced not stopped.
As a goodwill gesture, we have credited your R40. This is to show that we value you as a customer of the Bozza Network. reference number: ***
