MTN's sims perform worse than SIM using the Afrihost APN on the exact same device, under the exact same conditions

I have two devices on the MTN network, one through Afrihost, another 100GB contract I signed up for on Black Friday from MTN directly.

If I put my afrihost SIM card in my phone, I get 40mbps using speedtest.net When I put the 100GB contract sim card into my phone, I get 1mbps, and 50% packet loss.

I have basically never been able to use the 100GB allocated in a month.

This to me is irrefutable evidence that MTN is blatantly and unreasonably throttling the data that I am PAYING for, this is not even an uncapped offer.

These tests are performed mere minutes apart, on the exact same device, with the exact same signal reported.

The whole reason I bought this 100GB contract was to serve as backup internet in the event that fibre fails. And now here we are, with failing fibre and this pathetic service on the MTN network. Honestly don't know why we as consumers put up with this amount of bs from these ISP's.
