MTN's Poor Internet Speeds

I've been on an MTN uncapped lite since 2012 and the speeds since 2013 have been absolutely ****py.

The Ts&Cs state that after the 3-GB fair usage, I would be limited to 256Kb/s for the remainder of the month.

I'm constantly being throttled to the point where my download speeds are 30Kb/s and when I download documents from Gmail my downloads stop halfway.

Opening Gmail is now almost impossible and viewing something from Youtube is frustrating.

I've contacted 808 and spoken to multiple people who have reset the account, but resetting never fixes the problem. I've purchased an LTE-sim and LTE modem according to the recommendations of call center staff but the speeds have not increased.

The 3-GB speed would be fast, but up until now the 3-GB speed no longer gives a speed boost as MTN states in their contract.

I live in town, we have full MTN coverage and this is unacceptable, I'm not late with their payments and their other contracts simply offer too little data and cost too much.

Good Day, I dialed *** and 1555 and was directed by a machine. I never got the option to talk to a call center agent, and the settings I got from dialing the recommended *123*12# were for "myMtn" not for the "internet" APN.
