MTN/DSV Worst Delivery Experience Available

Ordered a new contract/phone from MTN. Initially I was impressed by how smooth the online experience went but then it went downhill. The DSV guy arrived on Monday but wouldn't give me the phone because my proof of residence was not sufficient. I had my physical ID, copy of ID, and a utility bill with my fathers name, same as mine, but that wasn't good enough. They also take finger prints. The next step must be to give blood? Anyway I accepted defeat and printed out bank statements for the next time. How are we in 2024 and having to print out papers to give to these people, why cant you let them take proof of the evidence like other companies do. Anyway a lady phoned on the Tuesday to book for between 2 and 4 on Wednesday, I then got sms confirmation of this so made arrangements to stay home and be present to accept delivery. I then got a call on Wednesday at 9am from a guy trying to book an appointment for Friday. I told him i had one booked and then he, sounding confused, said it looks like it's been cancelled. No one told me this. He said he would escalate and make sure it got delivered on Tuesday, he was going to phone me back. 5 hours later I had heard nothing. I phoned them and Lisa picked up. Same thing, she was going to escalate and phone me back asap. I begged her to phone me back. 3 hours later i got nothing so phone again and Danelle picked up. I thought she might be the one to help. Unfortunately as it was the end of the day i was going to have to wait till Friday but she promised me she would call me at 8 30am on Friday morning. I kindly said thank you, believing she had put it in her diary. As you may expect, she never called back (2 hours late she actually did call back and seems to have sorted it but I'll believe it when I have the phone so she might be the only semi competent person I spoke to and was actually empathetic on the phone and it felt like she cared). I have people on email who haven't either like Nonhlanhla. This is unbelievable, will I ever get my phone? I'm tied into a contract for 3 years with these people and this is how it starts. At this point I can only warn others. I am also going to post this on DSV's page because I think they are just as much to blame. I cant get into my banking, use whatsapp for personal and business reasons. I said we need to meet in the middle and ill just come and fetch it but they cant do that so my hands are tied.
