MTN YOUR CUSTOMER CARE SUCK!!

I'm really disappointed with MTN South Africa

My whatsapp number is my old MTN number and last night I struggled to update my whatsapp So i deleted it and installed it again. Only to realise that I need the sim card which the whatsapp number is created on I haven't used the sim in a few months as the sim is bigger then the current nano sim cards (i haven't got a chance to port it to a nano sim) As I phoned MTN Customer Service on 083 135 the operator say , " For support please press 1 and to port your number please press 2" So I followed instructions and pressed 1 as I just need to get the PUK number of the sim card to access the sim card For the next 7 and half minutes the operator keep repeating the same thing over and over. I send them a message on Facebook that I need assistance. They don't reply. I post on their wall and a 20 minutes later they reply that I must give a brief explanation about my query . I do so and what do they do? They just read my messages but nobody is giving me any assistance Tried the number again and still it just go to the 2 options

I'm really disappointed in MTN for the useless assistance they give their clients I wish I could give them a 0 rating!!

Hi Zamokuhle Ngubane ,

How can I receive the verification code when I cant get my PUK number for the number by your consultants who eventually transfer my call around
Its okay, I decided to open a new whatsapp and change network providers as I stated it was urgent

Keep well, I hope in the future when you hire people to deal with consumers/customers/client, that they are well trained and competent for the job as most of the people I dealt with yesterday don't seem like they have a passion for what they do nor have the concern of the customer/consumer/client on the heart.

Keep well
Regards
