MTN, yello never!!

<p>I have neen a satisfied customer of Autopage Cellular since 2002. Due to circumstances beyond my control, I became a customer of MTN in March 2016.&nbsp;</p> <p>Never in my life had I stuggled like I had the past few weeks. MTN's insurance department does not exist, no matter how they advertise it. After About 20 calls, with no answer I gave up. I then turned to Twitter, where I got surprisingly fast service (I suppose when one starts to complain on social media, companies start to pretend to care). After a long to and fro on Twitter, I at last received an insurance claim form. Lo! It was the wrong one. No surprise. After some more toy throwing I received and rep**** on the correct form.</p> <p>So the phantom insurance company phones me on a Tuesday. "When can we come and pick up your phone for assessment?", and after some discussion, we agreed on Thursday. When I then inquired about the delivery of the loan phone (which is advertised on every piece of paper, as well as in between the disgusting elevator music at the call centre), I was informed that no loan phone will be made available. Being stuck in traffic, I relented, stating that I need to make arrangements for a phone, they must pick up my phone on Monday. On Wednesday I was dragged away from my class I was teaching, to be surprised by a courier wanting my phone. After I explained, he left, saying he will be back Monday. And the exact same thing happened on Thursday!! Crazy I tell you. Anyway, eventually the courier left a packet in which I must put my phone, and he will collect from the front desk at my school on Monday.</p> <p>After trying to phone another phantom company (SMARTPHONEPLUS), to check on the pick up of the phone, again, answering a phone was so 20th century. &nbsp;</p> <p>I should probably make peace with the fact that MTN couldn't care less about my one contract, seeing that I am being treated like *******.</p>
