My daughter's mother (Christine Louw), sent her phone in for repairs, which took 3 months to be repaired due to a strike at the MTN service centre in Johannesburg. After her phone was repaired the phone was sent back to MTN Boardwalk Richards Bay, where the phone got ****** due to a break in at the store. Already its starting to seem like this is a company that can't be taken seriously.
After numerous returns to the store, the manager has given us very little information as to when the phone will be replaced etc. First I was referred by the store manager to Head Office, who then asked us to call the regional office (who we're very rude for no reason), then I spoke to the call centre, who asked me to speak to head office again. Thus its clear we've been sent on a wild goose chase because no one at MTN wants to take responsibility.
Is it not the responsibility of the store manager to provide us with the information we require in the first place?
I've also been informed of numerous cases where MTN's customer service has been absolutely terrible.
Personally I'm very glad I'm a Vodacom customer as I've never had this sort of problem with them.
