MTN worse service provider

I have an insurance policy with MTN since 2017 February when I bought my phone. Eversince I've never lodge a claim. Last year they stopped and cancelled the insurance without been notified. I contacted them and the policy was reactivated then they ran the debit orders accordingly. Today I phoned them to lodge a claim and they told me that my policy was cancelled on the 24th of February this year. Surprisingly they were still debiting premiums from my account after the date they say my policy was cancelled. I really need help on that. I've been insuring my phone with them for 3 and half years without lodging a claim, now my phone is lost they tell me that my policy is cancelled.
