MTN wont assist in cancelling my overdue contract!

Trying for weeks to cancel my mtn contract. Called them, they said i should email. I email them, they respond saying that i can't cancel via email i must call. I call and hold for hours, they just transfer me with no assistance. Worst network provider ever! Second time I'm having this issue. Call me on ***
