MTN WON'T CANCEL MY CONTRACT THAT HAS REACHED FULL
On Friday, 4 Dec 2015, I called the Mtn call center to cancel my contract that had come to full term after 24 months. The agent advised that she would log my request and the migration from contract to prepaid should go through within 48 Hours and to call back on Tuesday, the 8th of Dec to confirm.

I called back on Tues the 8th of Dec and the agent who assisted me advised that my request had not been logged yet and would do so and give me a reference number. He too told me to call within 48 hours. After the call I received an automated e-mail response to acknowledge my request and asking for reasons why I was cancelling the contract.

I called back yesterday and the agent told me the migration had not taken place and he would escalate the issue.

I just called them again TODAY and still nothing!!!! How hard is it to cancel a contract that has come to term!!! If it's not depleting data and airtime at exorbitant rates it's disgusting service and bad retention strategies.

#MtnMustFall!!!!!!

Extremely upset and highly annoyed. For a client to have to call 4 times over a week to cancel an expired contract is ludicrous!!!
