MTN will sell you to the highest bidder

I pre-ordered an iPhone through the MTN website, and was called the following day by someone I believed to be from MTN. How mistaken I was...

Instead, it was someone from a company called Mondo. A 3rd party to whom I had never given consent that my details be shared or used.

This predatory company now has me paying admin fees I was not made aware of and has me signed up for funeral and life policies I certainly never signed up for. Why do I owe them for doing your work? I only ever wanted an MTN product from MTN. You decided to turn this into an open relationship and expect me to foot the bill?

It felt ***** at the time that the salesperson was so pushy, but I wanted a new phone and thought MTN would never do anything to try **** me. Turns out, they'll do just that.

This whole process has felt decidedly underhanded and I feel hoodwinked. How dare you fob me off to a 3rd party who is now charging me extra? I never asked for Mondo's services, and would never EVER have signed up with them if I knew that's who I was speaking with.

Furthermore according to the MTN app I have an outstanding balance of R8849.97 for this month on a package I agreed to pay R1600pm for. I hate to throw the Carte Blanche threat around, but this seems like exactly the type of story they would be interested in.

As a loyal customer of MTN's for 23 years I'm disappointed, disillusioned, and downright displeased.
