MTN WILL RUIN YOUR CREDIT FOR NO REASON!!! DON'T GET A CONTRACT FROM THIS NETWORK!!!

DONT GET A CONTRACT FROM MTN. THEY RUINED MY CREDIT FOR NO REASON AND THEY'LLDO IT TO YOU TOO!!! If I could give zero stars I would. Mtn inexplicably stopped debiting my account during the 1st hard lockdown. I couldn't make payments at their local store because it was closed since it wasn't an essential service. I called their customer service and was given an fnb account to deposit into. This account was not functional. So I waited til they opened and paid over double my monthly installment at their store. This payment wasn't allocated. I found myself being called by their legal department. I went back to the store and was told I could keep paying there and everything would be fine. Of course when I went to make payments there they were always offline.i requested an easypay number. Naturally it took forever for them to give me one. Once they did, I made payments that way.

When I went to open an account at a different company, I was told that I couldn't get it because my account with mtn had been written off due to nonpayment. I called the man customer care line. They claimed mtn didn't do it and I should call mbd. I called them and they said mtn is the only one with the power to do that and their system said I was a good payer. Mtn gave only excuses and denial. I have called them, e-mailed them and tweeted. They've done nothing to fix the problem. All they do is deny and shift blame.

THEY'RE A TERRIBLE NETWORK AND NOT REMOTELY WORTH THE RISK. GO ELSEWHERE OR YOU WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO BUY A HOUSE OR A CAR. ALL FOR A BAD NETWORK WITH NO QUALITY WHATSOEVER!!!
