MTN WIFI Network Rip-off

So MTN blocked me on their Made for home LTE network because I was using a new WIFI Router (Huawei B535) as it wasn't allowed on their network. They (call center agents) told me to go buy an old router (Huawei b525) or buy their branded WIFI router which I find to be some bad marketing.

So before you buy those SIM only Wi-Fi deals from MTN make sure you don't have a newer version router, it must be the older types.

And ohh by the way the technical department isn't available to assist or update the list of allowed routers. So don't bother about that.
