MTN - Where in the world is my un-repaired phone??

I took in my new phone in for assessment ( I had it for 3 months at the time), due to an issue with the battery - it would not charge beyond 3%. This was at the end of November 2018.

The first issue was that no one was clear about the procedure to book in the phone, first I was told to take in to MTN Mall of Africa where it was bought and then when I was there that I have to take in to Samsung myself. After much confusion the Phone was booked in at MTN Mall of Africa by the manager.

I did not hear from MTN until January, when I contacted them myself, I was told to contact Samsung myself and was told that the warranty would not cover the damage and they had recieved communication that the customer rejected the quote ....A quote of R5000! How can I reject a quote when I have never been contacted! and why is warranty not covering the faulty battery.

Now began the quest to find the phone, Samsung said its at the repair center and the repair center said the phone was at the Mall of Africa store! After almost a whole day of searching, the phone was discovered to be at the MTN repair center unrepaired after months of not having a phone. Mind you, I pay every month without fail for my contract. The phone has apparently been dispatched from the repair center unrepaired ! I did a check in at the store to find out if it was there yet and nothing, I called the repair center and they said it should be at the store. This is now on the 29th of January 2019!

I AM TIRED!!! Thank you for nothing MTN!
