My bank account was debited today again, by MTN for R1556.50. The funny thing is, I don't have a contract with them and since April 2022 have been telling them so.
I have reported this countless times to their customer service department. I even reached out to their CEO Charles Molapisi via Linked In (3 June 2022) and still they continue to debit my account.
Each email is read, as I have the “read receipts” for several people in response to the emails I have sent. Including an “out of office” sent from Mike Ramaboka saying he will be back at work on 11 July 2022, after the CEO referred him to contact me.
I have threatened to go to the police and charge them with theft, yet still nothing gets done!
Really, I’m pulling out my hair on this matter!
Do I become just another person who just must keep paying to keep a good credit record or do keep on returning the debit order and run the risk of being blacklisted for some I have never agreed to, nor signed for, or receiving the benefit of?
How many stories have we heard were ********** contracts have been opened and people’s credit rating has been ruined due to lack of action on behalf of the cellular service providers.
So what should I do?
