MTN , what a sham ********* company.
I have been calling (a not so useful 135/083 135 number) and visiting mtn shops, and still no resolution to my headache.
I was phoned in November 2021 and offered an upgrade to my existing contract I have been having for my relative.
The offer was a new phone and reduced SMS’es from 100 to 25 PM, and more data than the previous contract.
I am now surprised to be told at the mtn shops that ,what I agreed to on the unsolicited phone offer is now different.
Ø No (0) SMS'es, I would never have agreed to this.
Ø Less data, I agreed BECAUSE I was being offered more data than before. I never agreed to less ,as I am told at the shop that failed to resolve my issue.
Ø 100 minutes, I agreed to this.
I have been moving away from vodacom as I thought mtn is better, it looks like you have become the same.
I am told at mtn shops that mtn has these ************ contractors (like this ignition group) who call and LIE to us about these phone upgrades. I urge mtn to cancel these contractors, as they are totally *********…I have never heard of fnb or ABSA subcontracting their services, except to couriers like DHL or DSV. I was **** to by someone calling from mtn before so, it’s not the first time.
WhatsApp and the Internet have not been working for days now on the number concerned (073 *** 8758), even with data available. Only Facebook is working, please solve this urgently .
Now, I WANT mtn and this ignition group to solve my complaint and implement the contract I agreed to on the phone by Monday January 3rd 2022 , 12H00 midday, OR reverse the upgrade and let me continue with the contract I have been having. On failure, then come to collect your new phone(I have not started using it yet).
Failure to do this will force me to take drastic steps, and believe me I am not a comedian.
I also know that mtn and/or it’s contractor may ignore my/THIS complaint and not bother to reply and SOLVE my issue, for it happened before.
