MTN - What a joke of a debit order system !!!!

Phoned MTN on 21 July 2021 to change my debit order date to last day of month as work change payment date. To my surprise they tried to debit my account in August on 25 (old debit order date).

Phoned MTN call centre. Gets told that their system takes 30 days or longer to update information.

Now I get penalised by not only MTN but also my bank for MTN's system not updating in time and therefore tries to debit on the wrong pay date.

Went to MTN Calvinia on 26 August and they recorded my dispute. Got an sms on 30 August that the ticket is closed. Called MTN Call Centre and lady tells me that the ticket is closed because it was transferred to another department.

Now I get a sms stating that Im behind payment and that I need to pay even more for this month's debit order (even though I only get paid on last day of August - AND MTN WAS INFORMED MORE THAN A MONTH AGO ABOUT THE PAYMENT DATE CHANGE).
