mtn - WHAT A JOKE

DO NOT ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH MTN. Try even to avoid using MTN pay as you go. Once yiou have agreed to a contract, you do not get the service that they are contracted to supply when they deduct money from your account. I renewed my contract with MTN on 17 August 2016 and since then have hardly been able to amke any calls. I am told "insufficient airtime" - ON A CONTRACT AND WITH A R300 CAP. And this is on the 5th of the month with hardly any calls made. When you phone, you are told the biggest load of hogwash and fobbed off untruths and with empty promises. STAY AWAY FROM MTN.

Thank you for your post

We are terribly sorry for the inconvenience that you have experienced as a result of this. We completely understand the frustration it causes.

Kindly note that since your allocated minutes have been depleted you will not be able to make calls because your usage limit on the network is set to R0.00, this is to prevent your account from incurring additional charges for additional usage.
We have requested our support team to adjust the service to allow you to manage your usage limit via the USSD code, reference number: ***. Please note that you can manage the usage limit by dialling *141*1*7852#ok, you will be billed for any additional usage plus your monthly subscription so please set an amount based on your affordability.

Rest assured it is not our intention to displease you. We look forward to improving on the service delivery to you.

Kind Regards
Siphumezo
