MTN WESTGATE SHOPPING MALL IS DUMB!

My friend bought me a tablet on her contract at mtn Westgate shopping mall about 3 months ago. They didn't do an instore check and didn't Rica the sim before they gave it to us. I also didn't know they do in store checks....anyway we get home, the tablet is flat so we charge it. I then put the sim in and switch it on. There's is a line running through the LCD of the tablet and the sim isn't Rica'd. A day or 2 later, 2 lines runs through the LCD and my friend takes it back within 7days. They take the tablet for an assessment. They have it for almost 2 months and send it back saying we damaged the tablet they can't do nothing about it. Unless we must pay to fix it. During all this time of going back and forth with MTN. Nobody calls us back to notify us or folow up as to what is happening . Whenever we call them with our airtime and driving up and down to the store with our petrol and our time wasted and even calling head office, nobody knows what the hell is going on and everyone is dumb and doesn't know what to tell us or how to help us because the lady that gAve us the tablet knows she messed up when she didnt even rica a contract sim . During all this MTN was debiting us for a tablet and unricad sim that we didn't have. Last night I got the tablet back and now there's 3 lines running through the LCD but as per MTN I damaged the tablet but there isn't even a scratch on the tablet, i kmow for a fact i didnt damage the tablet and now MTN is basically telling me I am lying ... I dont know what to do because I can't go back to the store. I am clearly dealing with idiots and they just make my temper rise when they say i caused physical damage to the tablet. Please advise How do I go about with this matter?
