MTN WARRANTY vs (PURCHASE)MANUFACTURE WARRANTY

On the 27th Feb 14, I bought an Iphone5s, on the 4th of June, I took it in due to faulty charger port, a consultant by the name of Ayanda (Menlyn branch) booked it and confirm the phone was still under warranty on the POP due to the strike MTN could not be reach on or trough their phones.

On the 13 July I have received an email from MTN claiming that purchase warranty on my phone has lapsed, so I have to pay R3630 for repairs. Why should I pay that much while I do honor my monthly payments and worse the POP clearly states that I am under 24month warranty ? Who is Fooling Who Here, maybe I should port and move Cell Ce will be happy to buy this contract out

Case Number Reference: #***7
