MTN VPN APN

I require access to an unrestricted APN on my MTN data SIM and with the research I found that I need to contact MTN Support and request the MTNVPN APN to be enabled on my SIM. I contacted the call centre on 135 and was advised to contact 1555. Upon calling this number they advise to call 135 as they are making things easier for their customers. So this is confusing.... But non the less, I managed to speak to a consultant and requested to enable this unrestricted APN and was given the reference number and was told to call back the next day. So the next day I called back just to be told I need to phone again the following day as there is no update on this call. I then received an SMS stating the request has been resolved and to contact them within 48hour should it not be resolved. I called the centre again and provided my reference and after holding I was told yes it has been resolved and the APN is indeed not active on my SIM....????? WHAT? I logged this ticket to enable it! not check whether it is enabled! I was then told I can't log it with them, but needed to go to a store. At the store they had no idea what I was talking about and said I need to call 135.
