MTN Voice Bundle Billed Per Minute

Dear MTN,

I'd like to start by stating that you have the best overall network at the moment. Well done on that,

However my ordeal begins with your MyMTN Offers. I bought a voice bundle on my prepaid number (which is billed per second), R40 for 89 mins. Afterwards, I realised that I am being billed per minute on the voice bundle. It is very disappointing as I needed to make short calls but each time a whole minute would be depleted off my bundle.

I call the call centre and even Twitter, they were adamant that it's billed per second, then when I made it clear of my experience, they stated that voice bundles are billed per minute.

Why is this not written anywhere either on the app or in the USSD prompts. It's deceiving to be honest.

Secondly, I ran out of my allocated minutes on my contract number. I got an sms to dial *136*2*864# to buy a voice bundle. The bundle stated 'undefined'. I called the call centre, and they said they can't see the validity on their end (so who's meant to assist me, a client before purchasing a product?)

I decided to buy it anyways at 8pm as I needed to make some urgent calls. It was R10 for 20 mins. After buying it, I get a text that it expires at midnight of that evening. It's just unfair to the customer that MTN is not being transparent.

Ironically, that voice bundle was billed per second... Ugh. Kindly assist as your call centre said there is nothing they can do. I have lost money in both these instances because of MTN's lack of transparency
