MTN VINCENT PARK STORE, WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED
I am disgusted by the treatment I received at the MTN Vincent Park store. My SIM suddenly went out of service which I believe is linked to ***** on my bank account. MTN’s 135 line was useless, no one ever answers.
I went to the store on 15 December 2025 and spent almost R400 per trip just to stand in a queue for nearly an hour and be told that SIM swaps stop at 12h00. I returned on 17 December 2025 and prepaid customers were again dumped outside like we do not matter. Meanwhile contract customers were invited inside to sit comfortably. A consultant even said this openly. I can identify him.
Staff were rude, unfriendly and selective in who they treat well. A white lady they knew was hugged, served immediately and allowed to skip the entire queue while the rest of us were ignored. A physically challenged man was treated with no sensitivity.
The consultant responsible for SIM swaps, Ms Bongiwe Mbhiyozo, was extremely rude, dismissive and uncaring even after I explained that I had just undergone surgery and could not keep travelling back and forth. She simply did not care.
I cried out of frustration before anyone bothered to help. They promised to fix it, but the store number they gave me *** is never answered.
I have been an MTN customer for over 20 years and have never felt so undervalued and disrespected. I want my SIM issue resolved immediately so that I can port to Vodacom. MTN should be ashamed of this level of service.
