MTN Velocity messed up my account
I have had a contract with MTN for a number of years, having taken over the contract from my father in April 2013. This contract included the basic call services as well as BIS. The contract officially expired in April 2015. However, MTN continued take an amount of about R420.00 from account based on the debit order arrangement I made. I continued to be provided with the services for calling and internet. This was okay with me.

On 4 September 2015, I was phoned by a call centre agent from MTN Velocity in Durban (I live in Gauteng). She convinced me to take a new contract on the pretext that I would be paying no more than R359 per month (the 350Top-up ). What she did not tell me was that my BIS would be cut. To my surprise, once the contract was loaded on my phone, I found myself unable to use my apps. I phoned that 808 number to have them re-instate my BIS. To my surprise this BIS had an expiry date of 22 September 2015. I phone velocity to re-instate my previous arrangement with MTN. Once again my service was cut off. Nobody at MTN seems to know what is going on and I have to call 808 every time to re-instate my BIS. Please sort this out.
