MTN useless-Sell phones cannot use anywhere outside cities

<p>I run a professional business and got a new MTN phone. Aprat from being ****** at the door of Vodacom and having their security and staff watching people break into my car, and pointing and laughing instead of telling me or calling the police, l now have a phone and a contract that they think is valid. Problem is that they have enticed me and others ror enter into a contract on the basis that we give you a phone and you can make calls and link to wifi, for which you pay us,. BUT the reality is that in 4 areas where l have gone, such as outside Cape Town and in the Eastern Cape, l have been left with ABSOLUETLY NO CELL PHONE CALL COVERAGE, Nor WAHTSAPP NOR 3G coverage. In short l have been totally unable to communicate whatsoever with anyone even in emergencies, whilst all persons around me on Vodacom, CellC and any other service provider had TOTALLY UNINTERUPTED CLEAR COVERAGE ON calls, wifi and 3G. In short they have given me a device that l cannot use whatsoever, and is completely useless for the pruposes for which it was sold to me. I intend to bring an application to set the contract aside on the basis of a misrepresentation that goes to the root of the contract. I would NEVER have entered inot a contract to be supp**** with a phone that was completely useless outside the major city centres. Just a look at the "covereage"" that they have, and its complete absence in vast areas of the country, which was never disclosed to me, renders the contract voidable and contrary to the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act. I invite them to volentarially terminate the contract within 10 days, or l will bring an application to have the contract cancelled.</p>
