MTN useless

MTN, what a joke!!! Let me tell you all a little experience I'm going through. I got a contract with MTN, new phone, stoked. No probs so far. Then switched to Telkom as their pricing structure was better. After 24 months (was actually 27 months) went to MTN and asked to cancel my contract, now bere in mind this was 3 years ago. I was asked to sign a document apparently saying I was terminating the contract. Cool so far until I started checking my bank stements. I had now gone from paying R390 pm to R110 pm. This was about 5 months after signing said cancelation document. I have literally spent the last 2 and a bit years trying to cancel this thing, visited 12 MTN stores until eventually someone mentioned to get hold of retentions. In which I "managed" to cancel the contract only to be debited again 10 days later now for R233. Now, here's the kicker I have been paying for 3 years for a contract that doesn't exist as the card was never rica'd and I could not do it for some reason so when I ask what am I paying for I get told 'well your paying for 100 minutes' to which I respond cool, can I have them which is responded with, no, your account is rica barred. Well rica the card or give me the minutes but if none of those are being done it is quite literally theft as I am paying for what? Minutes, no? Rica barred, yes! And now for the goal shot, they now have my new number and are calling me to ask if want to upgrade my contract?!? You want an honest review of MTN, try close a contract!!!!
