MTN upgrades

The last time I wrote on Hellopeter was about MTN at the time of my last upgrade…Alas, things have clearly not improved - after walking out of two MTN shops after either not being helped after 30 minutes or simply being told we don’t sell iPhones, we are a franchise, I thought I’ll try online upgrade… well essentially it’s not online as an agent still has to phone you and go through the whole tedious process seemingly with none of the information submitted online… anyway, contract signed, you are told your device will be with you in 3-7 working days… well it’s now 14 working days, no communication from MTN and when you call they simply say there is no stock and they can’t tell you when there will be stock… how can you sell something you don’t have stock of? Stop with all the upgrade marketing if you can’t back it up. Last time I considered changing providers, it’s time to contemplate that again after more than 20 years with MTN… disappointed.
