MTN Upgrade device delivery

I upgraded my phone contract via MTN store call center on the 31st May 2021. They told me it takes 3 to 5 working days to deliver. I called frequently to follow up and each time they told me that the delivery company failed to book delivery with me and i gave them the correct details each time. . I asked how long does it take and all of a sudden their story changed now it takes 5 to 10 working days. So it seems MTN does not have enough people employed that it takes them close to 2 weeks to deliver my device.
