MTN unresolved issues

Friday 23 June we turned on SMS roaming on my phone with MTN on the *135# number. After we'd turned on SMS roaming we recieved a notification that my phone was now unable to send or recieve messages or make/receive phone calls, would've been nice to have this warning before we enabled SMS roaming. When we tried turning it off it said we must contact an MTN service Champion, I can't even make a phone call to these champions to sort it out My dad phoned MTN 4 times and the issue is still not resolved, they told us they'd fixed the issue but they haven't as I still can't make phone calls or recieve them. They also told us they'd escalated the issue but nothing has changed and it's been 24 hours now of not being able to contact anyone, not even whatsapp calling works. When I try phone out it says the number does not exist please try again later. Good thing I had someone else around otherwise nobody would've been able to contact me for 24 hours now.
