MTN ******** practices, cell no: ***

I was on unpaid maternity leave for 4 months and failed to make some payments on my cpontract account. I have since paid all arrears on my account however when I drew my credit report I notice a default listing by MTN. By law (National credit act) MTN is supposed to give me a 20 day notice before such a listing can be done and as such they infringed on my rights as a consumer and this is such a dissappointment given that I had the opinion that MTN was a reputable company who followed the rule of law, worse even you cannot even get a hold of their legal department as you have to wait over an hour before anyone answers (thats if someone even answers) since my airtime usually runs out before I get any assistance, MTN can do better, this is ridiculous
