MTN - Unknown early upgrade fees charged!!!!!

On 2 Feb 2021 I upgraded at MTN (SABC0037) Cape Gate.

I was assisted by Wade.

On 1 March 2021, R3450.07 was deducted from my account which is almost 3 times more than my monthly contract fee. I went to my closest MTN, where the lovely lady opened a case as she could not see on any invoices or statements why this amount was deducted.

She phoned me back just to say that apparently I upgraded 2 DAYS too early and that is why this amount was deducted. I did not sign, nor were informed that I will pay a fee for early upgrade and did not even know that it was an early upgrade.

For 2 days, I would have definitely waited rather than paying that amount.
