MTN: ********* / ************ business ethics and NO interest in customer support

I took out a data contract with MTN way back in 2011. The contract expired after 24 months and I continued to use it on a month by month basis. The sim card stopped being functional many months ago, I gave up on tryting to get assistance from MTN, since they are just not interested. When I called to cancel the arrangement, I was told that I "upgraded" August 2015 (which I absilutely did not). The consultant admitted it may have been an admin error in MTN's side, but logged a call to follow up. Almost 3 weeks later and after many emails (with no replies), I am still in the dark. So my perception; MTN goes out their way to trick customers in DISHONEST means in order to retain business and have absolutely NO interest in customer service. My advice: STAY AWAY FROM MTN!!! I selected 1 star only since their is now option for a 0 star.
