MTN Unclear with Contract Ts & Cs (Thives)

I upgraded my contract from an iphone 5 to iphone 6 in December 2014. When I realized that I was on an opened line contract, I then called the call centre (808) early in Jan to ask to change my contract type from open line to top up. Mind you I said that I am happy to pay the subscription amount of R499 and get the R200 airtime, the only change that I requested was to cut out open line and make it top up. I called on 2 different occasions and spoke to 2 different agents how both advised me that this can be done however I need to wait for a 3 month period to lapse. I then called again at the end of March and the agent then sent me the migration forms, after I sent it back I was told that this change cannot happen and I have to stay on open line for the entire 24 hours. I then asked for the ombudsmans details, who was then unable to help me because they don't deal with credit related issues, I was given icasa details who hasn't come back to me. This is totally ********* business practice from mtn, I wish that I could just cancel everything and have nothing to do with your guys.
